Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and JonesLabs LLC ("JonesLabs," "we," "us," or "our"), a software company based in Atlanta, Georgia. They apply to your use of joneslabs.dev (the "Site") and our native applications for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch (the "Apps"). By using the Site or the Apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Site, probe or circumvent its security measures, submit spam or malicious content through the contact form, or use automated tools to scrape or overload it.

Our Apps

The Apps are distributed through Apple's App Store and are licensed to you, not sold. Unless an app ships with its own license agreement, your use of each app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, supplemented by these Terms. App and in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple under Apple's own terms; refunds are handled through Apple, not JonesLabs.

You agree to use the Apps only as permitted by law and not to reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell them except as permitted by the license or applicable law.

Apps That Connect to Your Accounts

Some of our apps connect to third-party services using your own account with that service. For example, Pulse for Google Analytics signs in to your Google account with read-only access to display your Google Analytics data. When you connect an account:

• Your use of the third-party service remains governed by that service's own terms (for Google, the Google Terms of Service), and you are responsible for having the right to access the accounts and data you connect.
• The data shown in the app comes from the third-party service. We do not control and cannot guarantee its accuracy, availability, or completeness, and the service may change or restrict its APIs at any time.
• You can disconnect at any time by signing out in the app or revoking the app's access in your account settings with that service.

How our apps handle data from connected accounts — including Google user data — is described in our privacy policy.

SereneReader

SereneReader is a feed reading service with its own accounts, subscriptions, and terms published at serenereader.com. Those terms govern your use of the SereneReader service wherever the two documents differ.

Intellectual Property

The Site and the Apps, including their design, code, text, graphics, and logos, are the property of JonesLabs LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our names, logos, or branding. Third-party names and logos (including Google and Google Analytics) belong to their respective owners; our apps are independent products and are not endorsed by or affiliated with those companies unless stated otherwise.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information they display is accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JonesLabs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Site or the Apps. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or an App will not exceed the amount you paid us for that App in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty dollars ($50) if you paid nothing.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the Site or any App, or your access to them, at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site or the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
